We advice you to take a taxi from Chop to Uzhgorod. It costs nearly 10 US$. The trip takes about 30-40 minutes. There are also trains from Chop to Uzhgorod. Time-table of these trains is given below.

The representatives of Organizing Committee will meet you on the day of arrival. For this reason we ask you to forward us by August 25, 2001 the letter detaling arrival date, train number and carriage number.

The participants will be registered of on August 26 from 2 pm until 10 pm and on August 27 from 7 am until 10 am in the foyer of the Tourist Centre (TC) "Svitanok" (Uzhgorod, Koshitska str., 28; tel.: 34309). There is no public transport connection between train station in Uzhgorod and TC "Svitanok". For this reason we recomend you to take a taxi at the train station to the TC "Svitanok". The trip takes at most ten minutes.

The opening of the conference will take place on August 27 at 10 am in the conference hall of TC "Svitanok".

The list of possible accommodations and price information are given below. Participants wishing to stay in one of these places should contact us by August 1, 2001 and we shall make reservation for them. We ask you to indicate in your letter the hotel and the room.

Breakfast included. You can get to hotel "Uzhgorod" from the train station by taxi. The trip takes about five minutes. There is also microbus (number 58) which goes to hotel "Uzhgorod". You have to get off the bus at bus stop "Electron" and to walk a small distance to the other side of the road until you reach the hotel.
